During a WNBA match, Bolt spoke to TNT Sports, crediting his girlfriend's influence. He said, 'She's been here like 4 times, so she’s been telling me about it. So I should come. So I was like, you know what? I’m gonna pass through because I see the energy, and she loves it, so I’m here.'
Bolt's favorite player is Skylar Diggins-Smith, a star for the Dallas Wings. He and his girlfriend have been attending their games and plan to purchase season tickets this season. He expressed his enthusiasm, saying, 'Yeah, yeah, I’m definitely a fan. We actually support Dallas. You know, maybe been to a few games in Dallas. We actually are getting season tickets this season, so I’m looking forward to seeing much more games.'

In a 2024 interview, he revealed his plan to step away from the sport after achieving his goal of winning three consecutive Olympic gold medals. He said, 'For me, at the start of my career, I made an end goal where when I started out I said this is what I want to achieve, and my biggest goal was to actually win three Olympics back-to-back. When I achieved that, it was like a hard road of 10 or 12 years of continuous work, so I knew it was time to stop.'
